It is our desire to have every person who feels God leading them to our church understand “who we are” and “what we do.” This is why we offer a class called Parkview 101/P.L.A.C.E for people who desire membership at Parkview.

Parkview 101 - equipping every member (new and existing) to understand the fundamentals of Parkview. Topics include: Who we are; What we believe; How we operate; etc. Click here to download the current Parkview 101 Notebook.

P.L.A.C.E. - through this study, members will truly discover their Personality; Learn their spiritual gifts; become aware of their
Abilities; Connect their passion with ministry; and use their life Experiences to help them identify the ministry God has for them.
New Member’s Ministry – after completing Parkview 101, new members will be assimilated into a Sunday School class and will have a new member coordinator help them get connected into life at Parkview.
New Believer’s Ministry - geared toward helping new Christians understand the basics of the Christianity and how to plug into a Sunday School/discipleship class.
How to join Parkview?

Any Person may offer him or her self as a candidate for membership in this church. All such candidates shall be presented to the church at any regular worship service for membership in any of the following ways:

2) By promise of letter from another Baptist church of like faith and order.
3) By statement of prior conversion experience and baptism in a Baptist church or other church of like faith and order, when no letter is obtainable.
4) By baptism, including those who wish to unite with our church who have previously made a profession of faith in Christ and are members of another denomination which does not observe baptism by immersion.
5) By watchcare - this form of affiliation is for those who do not wish to move their membership from their former church (or home church) but are located in the Tulsa area and wish to be a part of the ministry and fellowship of Parkview Baptist Church and under it’s “watchcare”. This form of affiliation requires consultation with the Pastor.
6) In Absentia - In unusual instances, a member may be received on promise of letter, by presentation of letter by another, or by statement by absentia, provided that the Pastor and/or members of the deacon body investigate the circumstances and recommend such action to the church.
