Parkview Pillars - Mission

The practice of mission…where every member is continually on mission!

• Every Member a Minister – according to 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, Christians are given the “Ministry of reconciliation”. In other words, God has called every believer to continually be on mission for the case of Christ in this world.

• Acts 1:8 strategy: Empowering Christians for the Great Commission This class will be offered each 24/7 semester, helping our members become acquainted with Parkview’s official strategy for reaching the world with the “good news” of Jesus Christ. Through the Acts 1:8 strategy Parkview will encourage and equip members to be “on mission” every minute of every day, as we seek to reach:
Jerusalem (Tulsa)
Judea (Oklahoma)
Samaria (North America)
Ends of the Earth (International)

Parkview currently supports more than 35 different mission programs, both North American and International. These programs are coordinated by the Mission Action Team.

• Ministry Zones – Tulsa is divided up into numerous “ministry zones”…which are defined by school districts. Over the next three years, Parkview will strategically attack and minister to as many zones as the Lord leads us to. Through these “zones” Parkview would seek to minister to teachers/administration; students; parents; and neighbors.

• Ministry Teams - over the next three years, Parkview will begin to officially enlist and equip our members in a variety of new ministry teams that will allow each of us to exercise our spiritual gifts for the glory of God and evangelization of our city in a unified, collective effort (for a more detailed list of what Ministry Teams are and do at Parkview, go to the official Ministry Teams link under ministries on the home page).
